Born in the suburban district of Spånga in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1991, my life was set against a culturally rich backdrop, thanks to my Afro-Iranian (بندر عباس,) father and Shirazi (شیراز) mother.
My father, balancing his medical studies, expressed his artistic side through his saxophone, playing in Afro-Persian folk bands. Meanwhile, my mother, an independent spirit and entrepreneur, ran her own perfume boutique.
I aspired to become a comic book artist (漫画家), immersing myself in the rich storytelling and dynamic visuals that define the genre.
I later gained interest in graffiti and art community of the world
Biography
Born in the suburbs of Spånga, Stockholm, I grew up between cultures—shaped by my mother’s poetic heritage from Shiraz (former Persepolis 𐎱𐎠𐎼𐎿𐎠), a city of wine, mysticism, and the verses of Hafez and Saadi, and my father’s Afro-Persian roots from Bandar Abbas (بندر عباس), a former Portuguese port city on the Persian Gulf. Together, creating a rich cultural backdrop for me.
As a child, I practiced and dreamed of illustrating stories as a manga artist (漫画家). In my teens, I immersed myself in graffiti and street culture—formative years that evolved into a lasting fascination with technology, art, design, and music. Over time, these became the mediums through which I channeled my energy, shaping products and distinctive brands. Since then, I’ve founded product ventures (Tracy,1,2,3), service ventures (CC Studios), independent non-profit passion projects (Certified Copy, Certified Composition, CC Mag, Torslanda Sound System).
Today, I lead CC Studios, a consultancy working across product, brand, and visual systems. Our work spans collaborations with companies such as Spotify, Volvo Cars, The North Face, and Christian Dior. Our team has led major global launches, including Spotify Audiobooks, Spotify Premium, Volvo EX90, The Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, and other notable projects. We craft both as independent studios and as embedded consultants—where I am currently embedded as Global Creative Director at Spotify.
Our work is regularly featured in publications such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Forbes, and our team contributes to institutions such as Fotografiska, Berghs School of Communication, and D&AD.
